Potential College Students: Get Free Financial Aid Facts at Super Saturday Event

Many companies ask for payment for information about where to find funds for college, but Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) is stepping up for the sixth year in a row with the free Financial Aid Super Saturday. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 10, 10 - 11:30 a.m. on both the Cambridge Campus and Coon Rapids Campus. High school seniors and everyone considering college will learn about:

  • college costs
  • types of financial aid
  • applications
  • scholarship searches
  • where to find more information

The financial aid presentation about loans, scholarships and grants will begin at 10:15 a.m.

All college-bound attendees will also have the chance to win a $250 scholarship towards any post-secondary institution, donated by the Minnesota Association of Financial Aid Administrators. Prospective ARCC students will have the additional opportunity to win a $100 ARCC tuition certificate; five certificates are being offered at the Coon Rapids Campus and one certificate is being offered at the Cambridge Campus.

This is a great opportunity to set your successful college career in the right direction. For more information, contact the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Financial Aid Office at 763-433-1500.
