Coon Rapids VFW Donates Flag to Anoka-Ramsey Community College Veterans’ Center

The Coon Rapids Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) delivered a flag and pole to the new Veterans’ Center at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) Coon Rapids Campus Jan. 10, 2007. The Veterans’ Center is part of an initiative by ARCC to facilitate veterans’ re-entry into civilian life and welcome them to higher education with services and resources beginning the Spring term. The MDVA has authorized a work-study student veteran to help staff the center.
