Community welcome!
Anoka-Ramsey Community College is embarking
on a new strategic planning process to
focus priorities and allocate resources
over the next five years to best fit the
needs of the students it serves. Community
members of East Central Minnesota are
invited to begin the process by participating
in the search conference on the Cambridge
campus of Anoka-Ramsey Community College,
Oct. 22, noon-2 p.m. at the Campus Center
Building. Additional search conferences
will be held at the Coon Rapids Campus.
The search conference is an interactive
event where college stakeholders - faculty
and staff, employers, civic leaders, and
community members - can learn from one
another and have a voice in charting the
College's path. Participants are encouraged
to discuss how the college addresses existing
and anticipated community education needs.
It's a chance to share ideas, ask questions
and interact with college faculty, staff,
and students.
Objectives of the search conferences
are to:
- Review Anoka-Ramsey Community College's
existing Mission and Goals and the process
the College will be following to refresh
its strategic plan.
- Share perceptions about how to build
on the strengths of Anoka-Ramsey Community
College and what the College might consider
doing differently to best serve community
needs.
- Share observations about important
trends in the community and the wider
environment, evolving community educational
needs, and implications for Anoka-Ramsey
Community College strategic direction.
These "stakeholder dialogs"
promise to be unique opportunities for
learning from one another and for beginning
to identify key factors and trends with
implications for the College's strategic
focus.
Light lunch will be served. Contact Evelyn
Gedde at 763-712-4479 or Email
by Monday, October 20, to confirm your
reservation. |
