Students who are interested
in taking college courses this fall but
have not yet registered can still enroll
at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC).
It’s not too late!
Many students delay registration for
various reasons. Don’t have money
for tuition? ARCC is one of the most
affordable higher education options
in Minnesota, and students can still
apply for financial aid by filling
out the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Some students haven’t decided
what to do in the fall. ARCC is a great
place to affordably complete general
education requirements before transferring
or to complete an occupational program
that provides immediate career opportunities.
Students who are taking fewer than
eight credits or who are not taking
math or English courses do not need
to take placement tests this fall.
For other students, the case is that
they just haven’t gotten around
to registering. Now is the time to
remedy that, as enrollment at ARCC
is significantly higher than last year
at this time. Students should register
now to get the schedules they want.
If accessibility is an issue, ask
about the North Branch degree programs
or College on Your Corner where classes
are offered at many locations throughout
the North Metro.
Classes begin August 23, and last
orientation is August 19 on the Coon
Rapids campus and the 24 on the Cambridge
campus. ARCC also offers an online
orientation that be completed anytime
prior to starting classes.
