McKee has
19 years experience coaching basketball
at the collegiate and high school levels
in Minnesota. Most recently, he served
as head basketball coach for Blaine Senior
High School. In past years, he worked
as head coach at Cretin-Derham Hall,
and as assistant coach at the University
of St. Thomas. While at St. Thomas, the
men’s basketball
team won four division championships,
and in 1994, reached the NCAA Division
III Final Four. McKee has a master’s
in Educational Psychology from the
University of St. Thomas, and a bachelor’s
in Sociology with a minor in Coaching
from the College of St. Thomas.
“I look forward to building
on the strengths of Anoka-Ramsey’s
fine basketball program and helping
the team excel,” McKee says.
