College Foundation Golf Tournament Raises $6,700 for Scholarships

The Cambridge Campus Foundation’s Golf Tournament, held May 10 at the Deer Meadows Golf Course in Cambridge, raised $6,700 toward scholarships for students attending the Cambridge Campus of Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC).

A record field of 15 teams registered for the annual event. The winning team, comprised of Bernick Pepsi’s Jon Sanford and Tony Wall and ARCC’s Bill Gelle and Jim Nieswaag, took home the $300 prize.

In addition to the golf tournament itself, the event raised additional funds through the raffling and auctioning of goods and services donated by area businesses and individuals.
