Brad Wold, a faculty
member in the Cambridge Campus Biology
Department
at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC),
has been selected as the college’s
nominee for the Pacific Northwest Great
Teacher Seminar.

The
Great Teacher Seminar provides an
opportunity for faculty of many
U.S. colleges to participate in creative
discussions about teaching, learning,
and the challenges facing teachers
in community colleges. Its unique
format draws on the ideas, innovations,
and
problems presented by the participants
themselves. This year’s conference
will be in June near Portland, Oregon.
“Brad is an energetic and knowledgeable
instructor who consistently finds ways
to bring information to life for his
students,” says Susan Tarnowski,
Anoka-Ramsey Community College Vice
President of Educational Services. “In
teaching Environmental Science he maximizes
the natural resources of the campus
as well as other local sites. He is
tireless in lobbying for conservation
of the natural prairie on the Cambridge
campus, resulting in a multi-acre site
dedicated to learning.”
