The Fine Arts faculty from Anoka-Ramsey
Community College (ARCC) will exhibit
works in a variety of media, including
painting, photography, ceramics, hand-blown
glass, and more.
The Opening Reception for the show
will be held Friday, March 31, from
6 to 9 p.m. in the BLCA Gallery. A
silent auction will be featured during
the reception to raise funds for the
ARCC Associate of Fine Arts degree
program and the BLCA Artist in Residence
Program. Artwork to be auctioned at
the silent auction will be on view
at the gallery beginning March 22.
On Saturday, April 1, the ARCC Music
Department and English Department Faculty
will join the exhibit for a music recital
and literary reading. The performance
will start at 7 p.m. at the BLCA Gallery.
The Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts
is located in a restored 19th-Century
Inn at 6666 East River Road in Fridley.
Normal gallery hours are Tuesday through
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more
