Freeman is one of only 10 people who received this prestigious statewide award, which honors individuals within MnSCU institutions who have demonstrated outstanding contributions toward furthering professionalism in facilities management.

Freeman was nominated for this honor by Michael Seymour, ARCC Vice President for Administration.

“Roger has managed to streamline facilities operations between the two campuses,” Seymour says. “It is a tribute to Roger’s talent and management skill that he has created a model for multi-campus facilities management.”

This award marks the second time Freeman has been honored for outstanding service by MnSCU, having also won the Outstanding Service Award in 2002. Freeman has worked for ARCC for 25 years, beginning his tenure as Building Maintenance Engineer in 1981.
