Candlelight Ski To Offer Outdoor Fun at Cambridge Campus

The Cambridge Campus of Anoka Ramsey Community College (ARCC) invites the public to enjoy an evening filled with fun, friendship and treats at its annual Candlelight Ski, a free event scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Join faculty, staff, students and friends on the Spirit River Nature Area's 2 miles of cross-country ski trails, which travel through the Cambridge Campus and the City of Cambridge. Guests can ski or hike, depending on snow conditions. When on the Cambridge Campus, attendees can also enjoy cookies, hot chocolate and the music of local blue grass band High Ground, which will play 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Campus Center Food Court.

Skiing will begin from the ARCC Campus Center, which lies on the east side of Cty. Rte. 70. Free parking is available next to the Campus Center. Door prizes will be awarded at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call 763-433-1100.
