More than $1,200 was raised for student scholarships to attend college during the first annual Flea Market/Garage Sale sponsored by Anoka-Ramsey Community College's Cambridge Campus Foundation, Sept. 13. Seventeen vendors participated in the event by donating $40 per vendor space. Other participated by donating items to the Foundation to be sold for the fundraiser.

"This year was a great start to what we hope will become an annual event," says event Co-Chair and Anoka-Ramsey Community College Faculty Member, Mark Widdel. "Next year we are hoping for an even greater mix of vendors: home-grown garden items, crafts and more local retailers."
