Wells Fargo supports Anoka-Ramsey Community College as sponsor for Prairie Home Delights event September 17, 2003

Presentation of $2,500 check from Wells Fargo to ARCC Foundation Let the tasting begin! Wells Fargo representative Eric Becker, second from right, presents a $2,500 check to the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Foundation to conduct its fundraising event Prairie Home Delights. Receiving the check are Foundation President, Lin Schmidt; Prairie Home Delights event coordinator, Shirley Andreason; and Foundation Executive Director, Luanne Kane.

Wells Fargo makes it possible for the appetizer- and dessert-tasting and silent auction - called Prairie Home Delights - to take place at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Sept. 25, through its generous donation of $2,500. This event is organized by the College's Foundation and designed to raise funds for student scholarships, faculty grants to enhance the classroom experience, and new equipment for the college.

"Without the donation made by Wells Fargo, we would not be able to organize Prairie Home Delights," says Anoka-Ramsey Community College Foundation Executive Director, Luanne Kane. "This event will raise funds necessary to make an impact on the lives of those who cannot afford to attend college. It really makes a difference."

This is the second year that Wells Fargo exhibited support of Anoka-Ramsey Community College with it's sponsorship of Prairie Home Delights.

Tickets are still available for Prairie Home Delights. For more information, contact Kane at 763.422.3478.
