College Art Faculty Members Win Awards in State Exhibition

Two art faculty members at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) have won recognition in a statewide art exhibition for community college faculty.

ARCC Art Faculty member Meg Bussey has received a $100 award for artistic excellence, and ARCC Art Faculty member Laura Migliorino has been selected as an honorable mention in “Art Connections: Minnesota Community College Faculty Exhibition.” Both instructors teach on ARCC’s Coon Rapids Campus.

The juried exhibition includes works from 57 artists representing 18 Minnesota community colleges. It was organized in conjunction with the Minnesota Community College Fine Arts Festival, held earlier this month at the Rochester Art Center in Rochester, Minn.

The exhibition will be on view until Oct. 30 at two locations: the Rochester Art Center and the Rochester Community and Technical College Art Gallery.
