Coon Rapids, Minn. Anoka-Ramsey Community College President, Dr. Patrick M. Johns thanked Anoka County Commissioner Margaret Langfield for her ten years of service on the College Advisory Committee during a breakfast meeting on Oct. 5.
| “Margaret Langfield is a proven advocate of Anoka-Ramsey Community College,” says Johns. “She is committed to the philosophy that a community college serves the citizens living within its surrounding communities. With this philosophy, she has provided advice and influence that has made Anoka-Ramsey Community College a better education provider. She was also very active and influential with legislative efforts that helped secure over $15M in construction money for the college from the 1996 legislature. We are indebted to her and thank her for her leadership." |

The College Advisory Committee consists of community members who promote and support college programs and services, and advise college staff about methods that result in responsive solutions for students in the services areas.
