Anoka-Ramsey Community College graduation candidates totals 634

An air of excitement filled the Coon Rapids Campus of Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) during the Nurses Pinning Ceremony, May 12 and the Graduation Ceremony, May 13 as candidates for graduation celebrated the completion of an associate’s degree.

ARCC President Dr Patrick Johns welcomed graduates and their families to both of these events.

“Students tell us that their experience and Anoka-Ramsey Community College is personal,” says Dr. Patrick Johns. “We care about our students. Our faculty do not just teach subjects, they teach people.”

The Mayor of Anoka Bjorn Skogquist delivered the keynote address and reminded graduates to relish the moment and challenged them to keep moving toward future goals.

“This moment belongs to you,” says Skogquist. “You didn’t get here by chance. It was hard work. Now your next milestone waits.”
