“I’m struck every day by the student transformations that take place here at the Cambridge Campus,” says Deidra Peaslee, Dean of the ARCC Cambridge Campus. “Many of these students would not have attended college if it weren’t for scholarships. And they are students from our local communities, many of whom will eventually get jobs in East Central Minnesota. The bottom line is donations to the College Foundation actually result in a stronger community.”

Memorial Hospital Foundation donates $52,000 for nursing scholarships
The most prominent contributor to scholarships for students at ARCC Cambridge Campus is the Memorial Hospital Foundation.

“To date, the Memorial Hospital Foundation has donated $52,000 resulting in a $1,000 scholarship for each nursing student at the Cambridge Campus,” says Peaslee. “This organization has truly supported the nursing program which has led to the availability of more nurses in our communities.”

“We really need to thank the many individuals, businesses and organizations who all contribute to the thriving Cambridge Campus of Anoka-Ramsey Community College,” says ARCC President Patrick Johns. “They really make a positive difference in the lives of our students!”
