| A captivating talk, a light
lunch, and camaraderie are on the menu
at a fundraiser 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7,
at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC).
Co-sponsored by the ARCC Coon Rapids Campus
Foundation and Village Bank, the event
is designed to raise money for student
scholarships.
Attendees
are invited to bring their mothers, daughters,
sisters
and friends to this Mother’s Day
weekend event. The luncheon will feature
a presentation by local author, entrepreneur
and motivational
speaker Cheryl Karpen, titled “Life
is for Leaping!” Sharing an hour
with Karpen is an unforgettable, rollicking
wake-up call to life.

Attendees
will have the chance to hear how they,
too, can launch their very own leap
year and tackle things they’ve
only dreamed about. Rounding out the
festivities will be door prizes, favors
and opportunities to share enjoyment
and engaging company.
The event will be held in the Riverview
Room on the ARCC Coon Rapids Campus.
