the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge

The Phi-Theta
Kappa honor society recognized the two
Anoka-Ramsey Community College chapters
with more than a dozen awards during the
Minn-Wi-Kota Regional Convention held
February 25-27 on the Coon Rapids Campus.
The two highly respected Phi Theta Kappa
chapters of Anoka-Ramsey Community College
(ARCC) are Alpha Delta Upsilon at the
Cambridge Campus and Alpha Delta Alpha
at the Coon Rapids Campus. The Coon Rapids
Campus chapter hosted the regional convention
because it currently serves as president
of the Minn-Wi-Kota region, comprised
of two-year colleges from Minnesota, Wisconsin,
and the Dakotas. |

The Anoka-Ramsey Community
College (ARCC) Coon Rapids Campus chapter
of Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor
society, recently hosted the regional convention
for the Minn-Wi-Kota region, comprised of
two-year colleges from Minnesota, Wisconsin,
and the Dakotas. Pictured accepting the

More than
100 students from around the region attended
the convention. Among the event’s
highlights was an address by Bjorn Skogquist,
mayor of Anoka, who spoke on leadership
and the necessity of getting involved.
Also addressing attendees was Drew Mattson,
a member of the Economic Faculty on the
Coon Rapids Campus, who spoke on the importance
of service to the community.
The Cambridge Campus chapter earned the
following awards:

- First in Yearbook Award
- First in Service Hallmark Award
- Fellowship Hallmark, Honorable Mention
- Leadership Hallmark, Honorable Mention
