College women’s
basketball fans will want to head to
Anoka-Ramsey Community College on Feb.
25-27 when the Golden Rams play host
to the Minnesota Community College Conference
(MCCC) Division III State Women’s
Basketball Tournament.
Exhilarating competition will fill the
Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC)
Gym as the state’s top eight teams
vie for the right to advance to the National
Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA)
Region XIII championship. The ARCC Golden
Rams are ranked number one in the nation
in the current NJCAA Division III Women's
Basketball Poll.
The MCCC tournament quarterfinals are
set for Friday, Feb. 25, with start times
of 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
On Saturday, Feb. 26, the games will
begin at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8
p.m. On Sunday, the consolation game
is set for 12 noon, third place finals
will be played at 2 p.m., and the championship
game will begin at 4 p.m. The teams competing
will be determined upon conclusion of
the regular season.
