"Tartuffe" actors The Theater Department of the ARCC Cambridge Campus will perform “Tartuffe,” a classic comedy by Molière on Feb. 18, 19, 20, 25, and 26 in the Lecture Hall of the Instructional Services Building (IS 105).

In this classic denunciation of hypocrisy and false piety, the play revolves around a well-to-do gentleman and the attempts by his family and friends to unmask con man Tartuffe, who has falsely ingratiated himself with the gullible gentleman. Tartuffe pretends piousness all while trying to seduce his host’s wife and swindle him out of his fortune.

The play is directed by ARCC Speech and Theater faculty member Gail Kasl. The Feb. 18, 19, 25 and 26 performances will be at 7:30 p.m. A 2 p.m. matinee will be performed on Feb. 20. Tickets are $6, and will be available for purchase at the college bookstore, or by calling 763-689-7030.
