Minnesota Idol Elizabeth Keeney To Perform at College Fundraiser

An evening fundraiser gala for the Cambridge Campus of Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) will feature a performance by Minnesota Idol Elizabeth Keeney. Dubbed the Scholardazzle Dinner, the splendorous event is set for Saturday, Feb. 26, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the ARCC Cambridge Campus Center Food Court.
Minnesota Idol Elizabeth Keeney will perform for the Scholardazzle Dinner fundraiser at the Cambridge Campus of Anoka-Ramsey Community College on Saturday, Feb. 26.

The evening will include a stuffed pork chop dinner, as well as a silent auction and a raffle for area business’ goods and services. Proceeds from the event will go to the Cambridge Community College Foundation to fund student scholarships.

Keeney, a St. Cloud native, teaches fifth grade at Princeton North Elementary School in Princeton, Minn. Her singing career has blossomed since being selected in 2003 as Minnesota Idol in a contest sponsored by Liquid 8 Records and Twin Cities TV Station KARE-11. Her first CD on Liquid 8 Records, “Follow Your Heart,” sold 5,000 copies in its first week of release at Target Stores in 2003.

Tickets for the Scholardazzle Dinner are $35 apiece, available at the Cambridge Campus Bookstore or by phone reservation at 763-422-3436.
