The fun side of science
will be in the spotlight when the Science
Department of Anoka-Ramsey Community
College Cambridge Campus holds its annual
Science Night event on Tuesday, Feb.
1. The free event will be held in the
Campus Center Food Court beginning at
7 p.m.
Dr. Eric J. Jolly, president of the
Science Museum of Minnesota, brings his
renowned story-telling skills to the
stage to show how science both fascinates
us and is part of our everyday lives.
In his talk, titled, “Is Science
Fun? You Betcha!” he uses hands-on
science and story telling to help listeners
see why it’s important to have
a fundamental understanding of science
and math to enable choices in education
and careers.
