College Nursing students host community health fair April 21

Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus Nursing students in the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE) program will host Hop Into Health, a community health fair, Saturday, April 21, 9 am to noon. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
The fair will include informational booths designed to educate and promote health and wellness within the community. Topics will include: fire safety, advance care directives, chemical dependency, ADHD, early childhood health, internet safety, e-cigarettes, community safety and more. The Cambridge Fire Department will also be present.
Anoka-Ramsey’s Nursing program (MANE)
The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Nursing program is a member of the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE) consortium. MANE is an innovative nursing education consortium between a state university and seven community colleges.
Two unique Nursing curricular tracks are offered with the option of an Associate in Science Degree (AS) in Nursing: a traditional Registered Nurse (RN) track and a LPN to RN track. As part of MANE, students in either track are automatically admitted to the baccalaureate program to facilitate completion of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing.
