College hosts Healthcare Career Fair, Thursday, Nov. 7

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus will host a Health Care Career Fair on Thursday, Nov. 7, 10 am to 1 pm. Sponsored by the Student Nurse Association, this event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
There will be more than 10 employers attending the fair including: 1st Choice Pediatric Home Care, ACR Homes/ACR Healthcare, Allina Health Hospice & Palliative Care, Fairview Health Services, Home Health Care, Inc., Homeward Bound, Inc., Hurst, Interim HealthCare of the Twin Cities, Pediatric Home Service and the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their resume.
Anoka-Ramsey’s Nursing program is a member of the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE) consortium. The Nursing program admits more than 100 students every semester, and graduated 189 student in 2016-2017. The employment rate for program graduates in the same year was 97 percent. Since implementing the MANE curriculum, the program has seen even higher graduation and completion rates, including successful board certifications for students.
