Two students, Laura Johnson and Rachel Cawthra, in Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s Fall 2017 Design I class were recently selected to be featured on the Anoka County Library cards.

As a part of an extra credit opportunity offered by college Art instructor, Laura Migliorino, numerous students submitted their design for the library card and a chance for their work to be featured. Johnson and Cawthra also received a stipend award.

According to an Anoka County Library representative, the two student’s art was chosen based on its artistic qualities and the design’s ability to connect with the diverse community of the Anoka County Library.
