Anoka-Ramsey Community College to host free COVID-19 vaccination clinic with Anoka County Public Health

Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Anoka Technical College are partnering with Anoka County Public Health to offer free COVID-19 vaccine clinics, open to anyone aged 12+ on Thursday, Aug. 5, 26 and Sept. 9, 30 from 2 to 4 pm.
Important information:
- The clinic will provide the Pfizer vaccine by walk-in or by appointment.
- The clinic is open to faculty, staff, students and the general public.
- You can schedule both doses through this clinic with the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine administered on Thursday, Aug. 5 and the second dose being administered at on Thursday, Aug. 26.
- Your second shot can be given through a different provider if you prefer 3 weeks following your first vaccine.
- Either appointment date can be used as a second dose appointment as long as you’ve received a first shot of the Pfizer vaccine 3 weeks prior.
Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is one of the best ways to protect yourself and everyone around you. The more people who get vaccinated against COVID-19, the better it is for everyone. By stopping the spread of COVID-19, we can keep businesses, schools, and other venues open. Stopping the spread of COVID-19 gets us closer to the end of the pandemic.

*Two doses of the Pfizer vaccine is required to be fully-vaccinated.
Consider the following when scheduling your appointment:
- Please ensure that your contact information is correct before completing your appointment on the hyperlink above.
- Please be on time for your scheduled appointment.
- When arriving on campus, follow the signs to direct you to the correct location.
- You cannot have had any other vaccination (i.e. influenza) within 14 days of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Please do not come to the clinic if you are experiencing COVID 19 symptoms.
- Please wear a short sleeve shirt for easy access to your upper arm and be prepared when it is your turn.
- Plan to stay 15-30 minutes following vaccination for observation.
- If you are in isolation or quarantine during this scheduled clinic, please seek a future vaccination opportunity. Being in isolation or quarantine is a contraindication for receiving COVID-19 vaccine.
