Erica Parker ‘14

Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s affordable tuition, small class sizes and athletic program are what first brought Erica Parker ’14 to the college. Through challenges including the loss of a close friend and teammate, Parker also experienced the highlight of being on the first Anoka-Ramsey women’s soccer team to go to nationals.

Parker transferred after completing her associate degree at Anoka-Ramsey to eventually complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.

Today, Parker is an NCAA Division Women’s Basketball Official and cites officiating  in the Big Ten and Division II NCAA Tournaments as some of her biggest professional accomplishments.

We asked Parker what she would say to someone considering Anoka-Ramsey and she emphasized the affordable tuition as the most important thing to consider. “You will save money in the long term,” said Parker, “and that’s so important for future life success!”
