The Association of Women's Contractors is offering several $1,000 scholarships to be presented at Rush Creek Golf Course in Maple Grove, MN on June 19, 2012.

Get Prepped LSAT Prep Scholarship

The Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship Board has expressed the hope that you assist them with making students more aware of the opportunities for support through the scholarship.  Scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000 are given each year to students who enroll in undergraduate or graduate programs within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four years for students working toward a bachelor's degree, two years for students enrolled in a master's program, and up to two years for community or technical college program. A scholarship may be renewed one successive year if extenuating circumstances exist.

LEDC & IME Scholarship

LEDC stands for Latino Economic Development Center and it is a non profit organization that was founded by Latino leaders in different fields of community development who share the same mission and the same vision. This year we are offering 2 scholarships, the LEDC and IME.

The LEDC are for Latino students completing their last year in High School, the IME scholarship is specifically for Mexican Students that have completed their High School and now go to a University or College.

MassMutual Scholars Program

Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) is pleased to announce that it's MassMutual Scholars program is now a national scholarship program for high-achieving African American, Asian/Pacific Islander and Hispanic students insterested in careers in the insurance and financial services industry.

This year, the program will offer thirty $5,000 college scholarships to high-achieving students across the country.

Eligible students of all majors will be considered who are entering their sophomore, junior, senior or 5th year senior at an accredited U.S. college or university and are interested in pursuing a career in the insurance and financial services industry.

(SUB) Rotary's Global Grant Scholarship Fall 2013/Winter 2014

  • Applications are available online at www.rotary5960.org/scholarships; Applications are due to the Cambridge Isanti Rotary Club by March 16, 2012 and to Bill Gaddis (gaddtron@gmail.com) by April 21, 2012. District interviews will take place on May 5, 2012 in the Twin Cities (applicants MUST be available for interviews) and international processing of the applications will take place in Winter 2013 for academic studies beginning in Fall 2013.
  • Global grants must relate to one or more of the six areas of Rotary focus, have a long-term impact and must be for a graduate level program.

SFM Foundation is a nonprofit foundation offering college scholarships to children of parents who have been killed or injured on the job. Talbots Scholarship Foundation    

In keeping with its long-standing tradition of helping women succeed, the Talbots Charitable Foundation is proud to present the 2012 Talbots Scholarship Foundation and the Nancy Talbot Scholarship Award for perseverance and ingenuity, which is presented in memory of the founder of Talbots. This program empowers women to enrich themselves through learning and achieve a college education later in life.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants to the 2012 Talbots Scholarship Foundation must:

  • Be women who have earned a high school diploma or their GED on or before September 2002;
  • Be enrolled or planning to enroll in full- or part-time undergraduate study at an accredited 2- or 4- year college or university;
  • Be attending the full 2012-13 academic year and receiving a degree no earlier than May 2013; and

The Walter J. Breckenridge Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America Scholarship

The Walter J. Breckenridge Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America (IWLA) is soliciting scholarship applications from high school seniors and current college students who have a strong interest in, and commitment to, the environment. The $500.00 scholarships are awarded annually and are potentially renewable for up to four years. Scholarship winners will also receive the benefits of a student membership in the IWLA.

The IWLA is a grassroots environmental conservation organization that was founded in 1922 to combat water pollution in lakes and streams. The motto of the IWLA is “Defenders of Soil, Air, Woods, Waters and Wildlife.”

Application Process:

Please provide your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, current school, a transcript which includes current and previous year’s grade point averages, and the names and contact info for two people willing to act as references on your behalf. (At least one should be a teacher or school administrator who knows you as a student). In addition, please respond to the following four items. In the interest of economy and conservation complete applications should be limited to two typed pages.

1)      What are your future educational plans and career goals?

2)      What do you perceive as the most significant environmental issues facing our planet? Which issues interests you the most and why?

3)      Describe your current involvement in environmental issues and outdoor activities.
