When is the library open?
Library Hours
With an ARCC student ID card, library transactions and
databases are available twenty-four hours a day, seven
days a week.
If the library is closed, may I return materials?
Yes, the library has two book drops at which you may
return most material. Book drops are located outside
the library:
one is exterior-at the college's north entrance (opposite
the visitors' parking lot); the second is interior-located
by the blue service elevator near the library. The interior
book drop is available during the hours the college is
open. The exterior book drop is available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week. Both book drops are emptied on days
the
library is open.
Is the library open to the public?
Yes, while our primary mission is to serve ARCC students
and staff, we also serve the community. With proper identification,
non-ARCC students, who are at least 18 years, old may obtain
a "community" card and borrow circulating materials.
back to top May periodicals be checked out from the library?
In general, periodicals remain in the library. However,
with authorization from library staff, ARCC faculty and
staff may check them out for a limited time.
Will I be fined if my books are overdue?
There is a $10 processing fee for each item 9 or more
days overdue.
