request. Instructors are encouraged to bring their students

Reference
Reference Assistance is available for all students, faculty
and staff to assist in the research process. Students &
faculty off campus who need help may email the
librarian.
I will try to respond within 24 hours.
InterLibrary Loan (ILL)
InterLibrary Loan from all libraries throughout the state
is available for faculty, staff and students who need materials
not available in our library. Faculty/Staff may request
audiovisual materials listed as MCCFVC (MnSCU Cooperative
Film & Video Consortium) for a specific showing date
through ILL (or contact Bonnie). Audiovisual materials from
libraries outside of MCCFVC may also be available through
ILL at the discretion of the lending library--request for
specific dates is not guaranteed. InterLibrary Loan of books
is generally for a period of three weeks, set by the lending
library. Periodical articles are generally sent to the library
as photocopies, but electronic articles may be sent by request
to the patron's email address (if it is listed in the student's
registration record).

Faculty Loan Period
Faculty may borrow materials from CCLibrary for the entire
semester unless the material is on HOLD for another patron.
Materials must be renewed or returned by the end of the
semester or the replacement cost of the item will be assessed
to the patron's record. When the items are renewed or returned,
all charges will be removed.
Collection Development
Faculty are welcome to make recommendations on the purchase
of print & non-print library materials to support the
curriculum. Photocopies of monthly Choice reviews for specific
discipline areas are available upon request. For videos
over $100 faculty are encouraged to apply first for TAC
funds (disbursed in Spring & Fall). Contact Bonnie
for assistance.
Reserve Materials
Faculty may place either personal or library materials
on RESERVE in the library to make them accessible for a
limited time to the entire class. Please use the Reserve
form or contact Martha Muehlhauser or Bonnie for assistance.
Allowing 24 hours for processing is appreciated
