NEXT STEPS - After you are admitted

STEP 2. Complete the Placement Test

The Accuplacer Placement Test assesses skill levels in reading, English composition and mathematics. Test results are used to determine the appropriate course placement to promote your success in college. Placement tests are offered on a regular basis throughout the year and the first set of tests are free.

STEP 3. Complete Online Orientation Process

Anoka-Ramsey provides students the opportunity to learn the necessary information to begin college successfully. All students enrolling for eight or more credits during their first semester are required to complete the college's online orientation program.

STEP 4. Request Transcripts

The Minnestoa State Colleges & Universities (MnSCU) system e-Application states you need to request your transcripts; however, Anoka-Ramsey Community College only requires offical transcripts if you are planning to pursue a degree or certificate or complete the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC).

STEP 5. Schedule a Registration Planning Session (RPS) & Register

Students will have the opportunity to talk with an advisor regarding degree/program requirements and appropriate course load, then receive help with registering for courses. In addition, campus tours will be offered for interested students. These sessions are required of PSEO students and highly recommended for new students including incoming transfer students with less than 12 college level credits.

NOTE: Transfer students with more than 12 college level credits do NOT need to attend an RPS. Transfer students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with an Advisor at the Cambridge (763-433-1840) or Coon Rapids campus (763-433-1240) or may proceed with their online registration.
