About Concurrent Enrolllment (College in the High Schools)
There are three Post-Secondary Enrollment Options in Minnesota:
1) Concurrent Enrollment : this option allows high school students to enroll in college courses and attend these classes at their own high school.
2) Dual Enrollment: allows qualified high school students to enroll in college classes, while still attending high school. Students attend classes on the college campuses.
3) Tech/Prep: this coursework is Career Focused Technical Education supported by the Perkin's IV legislation. In this program high school students take technical courses at their high school and receive a certificate that they may exchange for college credit through articulation agreements with the various colleges.
