Anoka-Ramsey Community College Men’s Basketball player Quincy Bethea Jr. was named the MCAC Southern Division Co-Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 15 to 21. This is the second time the freshman guard has earned the honor this season.
In the Golden Rams’ 80-74 loss to Minnesota West Community and Technical College, Bethea scored 27 points to go along with nine rebounds and six assists.
In the team’s 90-88 double overtime loss to Rochester Community and Technical College, Quincy recorded a triple-double with 15 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists. He also added eight steals in that game.
Bethea finished the season as the Golden Rams’ leader in points per game (16.9), rebounds per game (6.5), assists per game (4.1) and made three-point field goals (83 total).
Anoka-Ramsey finished with a 10-17 record, 2-10 in the MCAC.
