Anoka-Ramsey Community College Golden Rams Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Anoka-Ramsey Community College Men’s Basketball player Quincy Bethea Jr. was named the MCAC Southern Division Co-Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 18-23. 

In the team’s recent loss to Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Bethea scored 27 points to go along with six rebounds.  In the team’s win over Minnesota West Community and Technical College, Bethea scored 34 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals.  In the two games, he averaged 30.5 points, seven rebounds and five assists per game while shooting 58.5 percent from the field (24-41) and 50 percent from three-point range (12-24).

Bethea is second on the team in scoring at 15.6 points per game. He also leads the team in rebounds (5.8 per game), assists (3.8 per game) and made three-point field goals (61 total).

Anoka-Ramsey are currently 9-10 on the season, 2-3 in the MCAC.

Next, the team faces Rochester Community and Technical College, Wednesday, Jan. 27, 8 p.m. in Rochester, Minn.
