What is the EventViewer?
The EventViewer is an Online Events Calendar where you can view what is happening at the college, check room availability and reserve spaces for non-academic events. Complete/Printable Guidebook Here.
Why do we need to use the EventViewer?
• Eliminate double-booked spaces and class disruptions
• Locate events by:
Campus
Building
Space
Date and/or Time
Organization
• Safety and Security of college community (i.e., reference for Police, Fire, or Rescue personnel)
Why will I need to use the EventViewer?
• Check availability or request use of a college space (i.e., meeting, workshop, seminar, college visit, concert, poetry reading, athletic event, etc.)
• Locate event information in order to direct students, staff, and visitors
• Be aware of the scheduled events; check for possible conflicts when planning a future event
• Provide information to Safety/Security personnel
What is the “Public Events Calendar” and what types of events belong on it?
It is a calendar of events available for public viewing and includes events such as:
• Concerts
• Play performances
• Job fairs
• College visits
• Outside rentals
• Athletic events
