Student Nurses Association

Nursing Pin

The SNA is a student run organization that is dedicated to promoting the success and health of all ARCC students and the community we serve.  We strive to provide education and leadership opportunities to all students. We are a member school of the National Student Nurses Association(NSNA) whose mission is: to mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses, and to convey the standards, ethics, and skills that students will need as responsible and accountable leaders and members of the profession.

NURSING AND HEALTH CAREERS FAIR

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Student Nursing Association (SNA) and Complementary and Alternative Medicine club (CAM) are hosting opportunities to learn about the comprehensive programs related to Nursing and other Allied Health degrees

  • Monday, Aug. 4, 10 am to 2pm, Cambridge Campus G201
  • Tuesday, Aug. 5 and Wednesday, Aug. 6, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Coon Rapids Campus Legacy Room (SC272)

The events will include representatives from universities with bachelors, masters and doctorate programs, nursing book, scrubs and nursing supplies companies, aromatherapy and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) programs. Prizes will be offered, and food will be available for purchase.

“The Nursing and Health Career Fair is an excellent opportunity for current and potential students who are interested in a nursing or health-related field to network with students, faculty members, vendors, educational institutions, advisors, and alternative therapy practitioners,” said Sandra Kohler, Anoka-Ramsey Nursing Faculty member and an event organizer. “With the high demand for health care workers, we are hoping a lot of community members attend one of the fairs.”
