Certificates

Anoka-Ramsey Community College offers certificate programs in in-demand career fields designed to increase students’ knowledge and skills in a specific area/discipline for immediate employment.

Non-credit certificates are awarded upon completion of coursework in a specific career field. Students planning to earn a non-credit certificate must submit a completed registration form and submit it Continuing Education and Customized Training.

Credit certificates are awarded for completion of 12-33 credits of coursework in a specific career field. Many courses within a certificate program may also apply toward an associate in science (AS) degree or an associate in applied science (AAS) degree in the discipline.  Students planning to earn a credit certificate must submit an application to the Records and Registration Office during the semester in which the certificate work is to be completed.
