Fundraising Events

Both of ARCC’s campus foundations depend on fund-raising events for approximately 35% of their annual income. This revenue is spent completely on scholarships that are Foundation-Board designated. Examples include the Presidential Scholarship, the Dean Scholarship, the academic scholarships, the non-traditional-aged student scholarship, and veterans scholarship.

Cambridge Campus Foundation Fund-raisers:

  • Scholardazzle: an evening event with a social hour, dinner, and silent and live auctions to follow. Sponsorships available.
  • Golf Tourney: 18 holes, BBQ dinner, chances at raffle prizes, and a chance at a hole-in-one car. Sponsorships available.

Coon Rapids Campus Foundation Fund-raisers:

  • Golf Tourney: 18-hole shotgun start; includes cart and Italian buffet; sponsor holes; donate products for gift bags, raffle prizes, and door prizes. Sponsorships available.
  • Prairie Home Delights: a ticketed tasting event with 20-25 area restaurants, auctions, and music. Sponsorships available.

Recognition Events

The Legacy Dinner

Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.
Albert Schweitzer

The Legacy Dinner is a recognition event to which all donors are invited as complimentary guests. Donors whose cumulative giving has reached $50,000 or higher are seated at a head table and featured during the program to receive the Legacy Award, created by Bob Toensing, renowned ARCC glassblowing instructor. The next bi-annual Legacy Dinner will be held at Courtyards of Andover on Friday evening, November 19, 2010.

Scholarship Luncheons

Both campus foundations host springtime scholarship luncheons. Donors who have established named scholarship funds are invited to the luncheon as well as the scholarship recipients and special guests.
