How to Help Alumni Relations
Contact the Alumni Relations office to:
Mentor a student: The mentor program seeks to match students with alumni using common professional interests and experience that supports the student's educational and professional goals. Mentors advise about career-related issues and educational options, and provide networking opportunities and other supports.
Volunteer at an event: From greeting and alumni and students to helping with decorations, every alumni event would benefit from your input and energy. It is always based on your schedule and interests; let us know how you would like to be involved.
Speak to a class: Anoka-Ramsey faculty appreciate the opportunity to match the experience of our alumni with their curricula. If you are able to speak to an issue that may match the needs of one of our classes, please let us know.
Lead a workshop: Alumni events run the gamut of topics, and when possible, include presenters who are Anoka-Ramsey alumni. If you are interested in speaking to alumni and students (or have an idea about an event we should run), please contact anyone in Institutional Advancement.
Share your ideas: The alumni program at Anoka-Ramsey is designed to meet the needs of our alumni and students, bring the two groups together, and support the mission of the college. If you have questions or ideas along these lines, we would very much like to talk with you.
