Darren K. Hoff - Chief Human Resources Officer
Introduction:
Darren came to Anoka Ramsey after working in human resources departments at Hennepin Technical College and the Office of the Chancellor. Outside of state employment Darren has several years experience in human resources and finance in both private and non-profit organizations. Darren has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of St. Thomas where he is also a guest lecturer in the graduate program. Darren has also been an adjunct faculty member at Hennepin Technical College, and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
Achievement Awards, Affirmative Action, ADA, Contract Interpretation/Implementation, Supervisory Training, Compensation, Data Practices/ Data Privacy, Grievances, Hiring process/procedures, Employee Investigations, Faculty Step Placement, Leaves of Absences, Officers of employment, Personnel Polices/Procedures, Sabbaticals, Separations/Resignations, and Performance Management. As well as, overall oversight of both human resources and payroll departments.
Secondary Areas of Responsibility:
Advertising/Recruiting, Class specifications, Column/Step paperwork, Job Audits, Personnel Data, and Recruitment processes/procedures.
Dawn Hohmann - Director of Data Integrity
Introduction:
Dawn has joined the Human Resources team at Anoka Ramsey with 9 years of Human Resources experience in the private industry. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Dawn is a certified Professional in Human Resources and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
Job audits, class specifications, data integrity, unemployment claims, HR supervisor, policies/procedures, FMLA.
Seconday Areas of Responsibility:
Reporting, contract interpretation, Workers' Compensation, ergonomic evaluations.
Matt Begansky - Director of Employee Relations and Development
Introduction:
Matt comes to Anoka Ramsey with several years experience in private industry, most recently with AT&T, where he served in customer service roles and as an employee advocate. Matt has an MBA with a HR concentration from the University of St. Thomas, and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
Advertising/Recruiting, Search process, Affirmative Action, Supervisory training and community liason, Faculty Credentialing, Employee Development, and Workers' Compensation.

Unclassified/Classified contract interpretation, Organizational Development
Gail Peterson - Human Resources Assistant
Introduction:
Gail transferred to Anoka Ramsey's HR Office after working in human resources for the State of Minnesota for 16 years. She also worked as an Academic Advisor at Metropolitan State University for 8 years. Gail has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Management and Administration degree from Metropolitan State University.

HRIS system, faculty transaction, HR employee Reporting.

Data integrity, contract interpretation
