The Minnesota State College Student Association (MSCSA) just announced that Anoka-Ramsey Community College student, David Corgan will be their Public Relations Coordinator for the 2011-12 academic year. Corgan, with the long-term goal of getting his PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Minnesota, served a partial term as the MSCSA Public Relations Coordinator during 2010-11 after winning a special election last December.
Corgan says he is looking forward to continuing the hard work he put in last year by co-editing another issue of the MSCSA newspaper, The Students’ View, and continuing to spearhead MSCSA’s outreach efforts to its 47 campuses.
Corgan was elected at the MSCSA Spring General Assembly Apr. 16 by student delegates from public two-year Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) institutions all over Minnesota.
