Murder & Mystery in Spring Play, Book of Days, April 15 to 23

March 28, 2011

The play, Book of Days , will appear on the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus Performing Arts Center, April 15, 16, 22 and 23, 7:30 p.m. and April 17, 2 p.m.

Book of Days is an edge-of-your-seat mystery that follows Ruth Hoch’s quest to find truth and honesty amid small-town jealousies, greed and lies after murder roars through.

The “St. Louis Post-Dispatch” calls Book of Days , “An intriguing, prismatic and thoroughly engrossing depiction of contemporary small-town life with a murder mystery at its core…a splendid evening of theater…"

A review in “Variety” claims the play to be “a densely populated, unpredictable little world [filled with] intriguing characters who touch each other's lives through an elaborate series of connections.”

About the Anoka-Ramsey production, Faculty-Director, Lisa Weaver says, “This is truly an ensemble process.  This play requires all the actors to be continuously onstage, moving in and out of their scenes and providing background to other scenes.  We are all working together to create something quite unique and we look forward to sharing our work with the audience!”

Tickets are $8 for the general public and available at the bookstore during normal business hours or at the theatre Box Office 30 minutes before each performance.
