Tournament Raises Needed Funds for College Students, Community

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus Foundation and the Cambridge and Isanti Rotary golf tournament, June 4 was a huge success.

 

The event raised more than $13,400, which will be divided between the foundation and rotary. The foundation revenue will support its scholarship program. The Rotary revenue will support Rotary scholarship projects.

 

Twenty-two foursomes participated in this year’s event. The winners were:

 

First Place Men: Peoples Bank of Commerce (Al Anlauf, Darrin Davis, Nick Anlauf, Dennis Anlauf)

First Place Women: Purple Hawk Supper Club (Marlene Laase, Jean Laase, Char Reinhart, Lois Wojack)

First Place Mixed: Foursome: DeeDee and Bob Kahring, Bruce Novak, Troy Thompson

Closest to the Pin Men: Dave Madden, Anoka-Ramsey

Closest to the Pin Women: Lois Wojack, Purple Hawk Supper Club

Longest Putt Men: Rich Manik, Anoka-Ramsey

Longest Putt Women: Sue Groves, Anoka-Ramsey

Bundle-It-Up Team Ball: Foursome:  Maureen O’Neill, Marc Linder, Steve Merten and Keith Hoppe

 

Last year, the Cambridge Campus Foundation awarded more than $66,200 in scholarships to Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus students.
