Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s women's basketball team placed third in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) State Tournament, Feb. 27-29. To secure their place, Anoka-Ramsey beat Central Lakes in the opening round 59-53, then lost to Rochester (ranked no. 1 in the country) 73-53 in the semi – finals. Anoka-Ramsey came back to beat Hibbing 81-63 for third place. Anoka-Ramey player, Desirae Robinson was named to the All Tournament Team; she also received second team All Southern Division honors and second team All State honors. Two other Anoka-Ramsey players, Kate Bement and Carri Roline received All Southern Division Honorable Mention recognition. Anoka-Ramsey finished the year with an 18 – 11 record |
