More About College on Your Corner
College on Your Corner is an outreach program that provides college classes to students living/working in regions typically underserved by institutions of higher education. Course work is usually offered at local high school facilities to persons living in communities and regions where location makes it difficult or inconvenient for learners to attend college classes held at Anoka-Ramsey’s main campuses in Cambridge and Coon Rapids.

Students who attend may earn credits towards an associate of arts degree from Anoka Ramsey Community College in once or twice weekly evening courses as well as in newer formats including web-enhanced (partially online). Classes are also offered in different lengths including 16-week (full semester) traditionally paced learning experiences, and 10-week sessions, moderately accelerated learning experiences.

College on Your Corner is currently offered in Columbia Heights, Elk River, Fridley, Monticello, North Branch, and Blaine (National Sports Center). In fall 2009, College on Your Corner will be offered in the Becker, Monticello and St. Francis communities.

To view the College on Your Corner courses offered in Becker in fall 2009, visit our Course Schedules Web page and select the Coon Rapids Campus. Go to the drop down for Location and select Becker.
