A bachelor of science in Nursing (BSN) has arrived at the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus through a collaborative effort between Anoka-Ramsey and Bemidji State University. President of Bemidji State University Jon Quistgaard and Anoka-Ramsey Community College President Patrick M. Johns signed an agreement during the Cambridge Campus Foundation nursing luncheon, April 20, allowing Bemidji State University to bring it's bachelor of science in Nursing degree to the Anoka-Ramsey Cambridge Campus, beginning fall 2009. “Bemidji State is proud to partner with Anoka-Ramsey by bringing this nationally-accredited nursing program to the Cambridge area,” says Bemidji State President Dr. Jon E. Quistgaard. “These new opportunities for access to four-year programs help strengthen the state’s talent pool while providing career advancement possibilities for individuals.” “The Cambridge area hosts numerous healthcare facilities that require trained professionals to meet staffing needs,” says Anoka-Ramsey President Dr. Patrick M. Johns. “This degree offering is part of our University Portal program, which brings advanced degrees to our campuses and expands the educational programs necessary to meet community needs.” |
