"This exhibit represents the best of our work," says Petersen, an AFA student who plans to transfer to the University of Minnesota to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in ceramics. "Some of the work is the culmination of a student's work in the fine arts program. Other work, like mine, was produced just for this exhibit. I think people will enjoy it." The public and people considering the study of art at Anoka-Ramsey are encouraged to attend the showing to see and even purchase the strong work produced in the Anoka-Ramsey Fine Arts Department. People wishing to support local arts should also watch for information on the program-wide Student Art Sale April 30 and May 1 at the Coon Rapids Campus.
