New Board Member Brings Wealth of Experience to Cambridge Campus Foundation

In recent elections, the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus Foundation elected a new member to their board of directors: Jackie Moen.
Jackie Moen Jackie Moen, Organizational Consultant for Training Connections, recently began as a member on the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus Foundation board.

Jackie Moen, Organizational Consultant for Training Connections, is a graduate of Memorial Senior High School in Ely, Minn. and holds a bachelor of science from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and a master of arts in Management from the College of St. Scholastica. She is married to Fred and they have five children-Nick, Kati, Leah, Kasey and Megan. Moen's other community involvement includes: Rotary Club of Cambridge member and past president; American Society of Training and Development; Isanti Area Chamber of Commerce member; Cambridge Chamber of Commerce member; and book club.

According to the Foundation by-laws, directors are elected for a three-year term and are eligible to serve two consecutive three-year terms. New members have committed to the foundation's mission to actively seek and accept gifts and grants for financial assistance to students and college projects. Foundation members are charged with promoting awareness and understanding of the college and its educational, cultural and developmental value to the surrounding communities.

The Cambridge Campus Foundation provides scholarships to assist students in East Central Minnesota, regardless of financial status, to continue their education at the college. Nearly $66,500 was awarded to students who are attending Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus in 2007-2008.

"The Cambridge Campus Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Jackie Moen to the Board," says Director of Institutional Advancement, Evelyn Gedde. "Her wellspring of expertise and experience will be invaluable as the board seeks gifts for student scholarships."
