Prairie Home Delights Grossed More Than $27,500 for Student Scholarships at College

The 15th Annual Prairie Home Delights fundraiser for Anoka-Ramsey Community College scholarships brought together more than 300 community members for an evening of excellent food, beautiful music, a wine tasting and a silent and live auction. The event grossed more than $27,500 toward student scholarships.

Moon Rock Bar and Grill employees Moon Rock Bar and Grill employees are all set to hand out their tasty chocolate mousse to attendees of Prairie Home Delights.

The gala event, hosted by the Coon Rapids Campus Foundation, featured auctions of items donated by 104 local businesses and individuals. In addition, 17 area food establishments donated a delectable array of appetizers and desserts for attendees. Event sponsors Mercy and Unity Hospitals and Northeast Bank contributed underwriting funds for the event.

"We are so appreciative of the support provided by area individuals and businesses to make this important fundraiser a success," says Evelyn Gedde, Executive Director of the Coon Rapids Campus Foundation and ARCC Director of Institutional Advancement. "The impact scholarships can provide our students is immeasurable."
