College Honors Outstanding Students

Faculty, staff and students at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) Coon Rapids Campus gathered to honor student achievement at this year’s Student Awards Ceremony May 4 in the Performing Arts Center.

Ten students were recognized for their efforts in campus activities ranging from acting to student government. Thirty-one students earned recognition for achievements in specific academic disciplines.

Closing out the evening, one student was honored for overall achievement. The Outstanding Student of the Year Award went to sophomore Caleb Von Vett of Wyoming, Minn. A 2003 graduate of Lexington Academy in Wyoming, Minn., Von Vett plans to attend the University of Minnesota to study mechanical engineering after graduating from ARCC this May.
